Yesterday, I wrote a blog post discussing whether or not Bitcoin mining should be done in Pakistan. However, later, I realized that if someone were to ask me about it, I wouldn’t feel particularly proud sharing my involvement in it—it just wouldn’t resonate with me deeply. On the other hand, I find the blockchain technology behind Bitcoin much more intriguing. If someone wanted to learn about it, I’d be eager to share my knowledge and discuss it.
This led me to realize that my interest isn’t really in Bitcoin itself. This confirms that my inclination to mine was purely experimental, but it also highlights that my overall interest in it is minimal.
As a result, I’ve decided to shift my focus toward understanding how blockchain technology works, exploring opportunities to become a developer in this field, and learning about the various business opportunities it presents. Blockchain, as a foundational technology, has far greater potential for innovation and real-world applications, which aligns better with my interests and aspirations.
